Un extraordinario espacio en la ciudad que todos deben visitar y conocer, es su Centro Histórico, mismo que ha sido declarado Patrimonio Histórico y Cultural de la Humanidad. Caminar por sus calles es una experiencia que otorga la oportunidad de experimentar lo que significa descubrir un intenso contraste entre lo tradicional y lo innovador, entre la cálida luz del sol y una fresca sombra de jacaranda, entre el bullicio del comercio y la tranquilidad de una suave conversación, entre el color terracota del adoquín y el tenue rosa de la cantera, entre la melodía expresada por un cantor en la plaza y el silencio de la espera en un rincón. «¡Un poema por una moneda«!…se escucha diariamente entre las calles al poeta ávido por compartir su arte y por comer; mientras que otro popular queretano grita a todos los trasuntes…¡¡»Ánimo«!!
Adicionalmente el estado de Querétaro cuenta con seis Pueblos Mágicos (Bernal, Amealco, Tequisquiapan, Cadeyerta, San Joaquín y Jalpan de Serra), todos ellos lugares que definitivamente se deben visitar y disfrutar por lo menos una vez en la vida. Personalmente he podido disfrutar algunos de ellos, y muy pronto agregaré crónicas y reseñas de mis vistas.

Discover the Historic Center of Querétaro!
One of the city’s most extraordinary landmarks that everyone must visit is the Historic Center, a site declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walking through its streets offers a chance to experience a profound contrast: the traditional meeting the innovative; the warmth of the sunlight against the cool shade of a jacaranda tree; the bustling energy of commerce balanced by the tranquility of a soft conversation; and the terracotta hues of the cobblestones set against the delicate pink of the cantera stone.
Every day, the air is filled with the sounds of the city: “A poem for a coin!” calls out a poet, eager to share his art and earn a meal. Meanwhile, another local legend shouts a spirited “Ánimo!” to all those passing by.
Additionally, the state of Querétaro is home to six Pueblos Mágicos (Bernal, Amealco, Tequisquiapan, Cadereyta, San Joaquín, and Jalpan de Serra)—all of them places that truly must be visited and enjoyed at least once in a lifetime. I have personally had the pleasure of visiting several of them, and I will soon be adding chronicles and reviews of my travels.
